Driver feature I

The driver features appear while doubel clickingin the Pre-Process-Mask. They are divided into two sheets, you find them in the driver-vehicle-unit. You can select an existing driver or you create your own.

desired speed This specifies the speed in [km/h] the driver wishes to reach in free traffic flow.
max. possible decel. This determines the value with which the driver believes he can brake.
utilization of acceleration This is the share of the actual output-based possible acceleration which the driver will use.
safety needs, estimation, accuracy acceleration pedal sensitivity, daily form There we have driver parameters, which describe the perceptual capacity, and thus it influences the choice of distance and acceleration behaviour. One can assume a mean of 0.5 and standard deviation of 0.15 for the entire driver population.
level of compliance The level of compliance for speed limits reflects the extent to which the driver keeps to an existing limit. 'High' means an absolute compliance with speed limits while 'low' leads to an exceeding of 50%
no passing compliance Here is the over taking behaviour described (no overtaking on the right and left)
