Driver- Vehicle-Unit (DVU)

Click with the right mouse key in the Pre-Process-mask ('XPELOPS'), this opens a context-menu and you can activate the DVU dialogue box with the command edit. Alternatively you can select a DVU with double clicking the left mouse key. You can see here that there is a separate file for each of the four elements of a DVU. The file tabs can be found on the bottom margin. Click the tab with the mouse to open the file with the corresponding sheets.  The vehicle file contains the sheets:

• Type
• Chassis
• Engine
• Drive train I
• Drive train II
• Brakes
• Tyres
• Equipment

These sheets are only activated if you select a real vehicle. If you select a synthetic vehicle the sheets cannot be opened. Moreover, the interface file is irrelevant for synthetic vehicles.
