Tyre

In the drop-down-menu under ‘tyre type’ you select the suitable tyres. For the tyres the rolling resistance coefficient is calculated as a fourth degree polynomal depending on the vehicle's velocity:

rolling resistance coef. c0 rrc.gif (1071 Byte)
rolling resistance coef. c1 rrc.gif (1071 Byte)
rolling resistance coef. c2 rrc.gif (1071 Byte)
width width of a tyre in [m]
MoI tyre and rim moment of inertia of tyre, rim, and brake disk (if existing) in [kgm²]
mass tyre and rim mass of tyre and rim in [kg]
